Biographies

BRIG. GEN. WILLIAM R. DAVIS

Assistant Adjutant General

Brig. Gen. William R. Davis is the Chief of Staff - Air, Joint Force Headquarters, New Hampshire National Guard. In this capacity, he has leadership oversight of more than 1,050 personnel in the New Hampshire Air National Guard, ensuring mission readiness to support State and National missions.

General Davis received his commission from the Rhode Island Army National Guard in December 1996 and joined the New Hampshire Air National Guard in November 1998.

The General's other experience includes Vice Commander of the 157th Air Refueling Wing, squadron command, deputy group command, deployed deputy group command, tours at the National Guard Bureau and the U.S. Embassy in El Salvador. He is a prior Chair of the Director of Staff Advisory Council and also the Regional Economic Development Center, a non-profit lender that promotes employment opportunity and economic growth in southern New Hampshire. Prior to his current assignment he was Director of Staff – Air, Joint Force Headquarters, New Hampshire National Guard.
