CONCORD, N.H. - Sgt. Jordan Ford, crew chief with NHARNG aviation, straps in a 130-foot “long line” Oct. 19, 2022, at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Concord. Ford and his crew later extracted two rusted metal culverts from Nash Stream. The sling load was coordinated through Innovative Readiness Training, a U.S. Department of Defense program that provides training opportunities for guardsmen while supporting local communities.
