Thunder Over New Hampshire Air Show and Open House
PEASE AIR FORCE BASE, N.H. -- — Pease Air National Guard Base to welcome the public to its first open house and air show in more than a decade. Performers include U.S. Air Force demonstration teams and fifth generation aircraft. The ground displays and exhibits are scheduled to have more than 30 aircraft on the ramp and both military and civilian live-action STEM demonstrations and competitions.

Fort Devens, Mass. — The New Hampshire National Guard held its annual combat marksmanship match July 8 – 11 at Fort Devens, Mass. Soldiers and airmen competed in various team and individual small-arms events, undaunted by torrential rain that belted the region as Tropical Storm Elsa passed through.

CONCORD, N.H. — Thanks to your extraordinary efforts over the past 15 months, life as we know is slowly, but surely, returning to normal. In terms of sheer numbers, you crushed it: 475 days of continuous duty (and counting), 1,300 soldiers and airmen activated, 804,000 vaccinations administered, 146,700 COVID tests given, 133,300 cases mapped, 515,000 calls handled between the help center and coordination cell, 394,000 pounds of food sorted, 281,000 meals provided, 1,019 surge beds set up (and broken down), 7,000 pallets of PPE received and warehoused, 16,800 PPE orders completed, and 372,900 miles of road traveled delivering PPE.

The event is open to valid military ID card holders, including members of the New Hampshire Air National Guard, military dependents and retirees.

Spc. Thomas Echelberger: NH Guardsman and Olympic Hopeful
CONCORD, N.H. — Spc. Thomas Echelberger of the 195th Regional Training Institute is a biathlete for the NHNG and Olympic hopeful. He’s in Jericho, Vermont, for a two-week biathlon training course. The invitation-only program trains top Nordic athletes for a chance to represent the United States in the Olympics and other international competitions.

In a symbol of the transfer, outgoing commander Brig. Gen. Laurie Farris passed the organizational guidon to incoming commander Brig. Gen. Jed French.
