North Country airport hosts NHARNG Black Hawk helicopter, crew, for open house

MILAN, N.H. — Berlin Regional Airport, a spartan airstrip nestled near the White Mountains, hosted an open house for the New Hampshire Army National Guard and area residents last Friday.

FRANCONIA, N.H. — More than 150 volunteers from search and rescue teams across the state, including eight from the New Hampshire National Guard, gathered at Cannon Mountain on Sept. 10 for an annual familiarization day hosted by Fish and Game, State Police and NHARNG aviation.

New Hampshire Airman Saves Life in Boating Accident

PEASE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, N.H. — A KC-46A Pegasus crew from the 157th Air Refueling Wing had to declare in-flight emergency during a New Hampshire National Guard orientation flight for state congressional staffers Aug. 23, after the aircraft’s boom failed to retract.
