SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador — On a hot Saturday afternoon in El Salvador, the New Hampshire Army National Guard’s 39th Army Band opened the first of two concerts at the Illopango Airshow with a cover of The Romantics, “What I Like About You.”

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador — NH Adjutant Gen. David Mikolaities and Salvadoran Defense Minister René Merino met for the second time in nine months during a New Hampshire National Guard-El Salvador State Partnership event Feb. 3 to 6 that included concerts by the 39th Army Band and a vehicle maintenance exchange.

The allegations are serious and potentially involve multiple victims. Both officers have been suspended from their current assignments pending the outcome of their respective investigations, which includes those conducted by external organizations.

Filling a gap
MANCHESTER, N.H. — During the pilot run of an oral health collaborative between the New Hampshire National Guard and the Manchester Health Department, held Jan. 7 at the Beech Street Elementary School, 11 school children were treated. Hundreds more in the city’s dental care program are being scheduled for the remainder of the 2022-23 calendar year, said Andrea Iasillo, a certified public health dental hygienist for the Manchester Health Department. Since 2007, the program has grown from eight to all 21 public schools, serving more than 600 students a year. Most of the children are from families with refugee status or who are undocumented, Iasillo said.

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Staff Sgt. Dante Davis was driving home to Boston on Interstate 93 in Manchester on the evening of December 15, when he came upon an accident scene. A maroon SUV had overturned and rested against the guardrail. He immediately pulled over, exited his vehicle and rushed over.

NHNG delivers for Operation Santa Claus
COCORD, N.H. — In the spirit of giving, the New Hampshire National Guard gave a tactical assist to Santa for Christmas. Guardsmen transported thousands of donated children’s gifts to communities across the state in military trucks, buses, and even a Black Hawk helicopter Dec. 13.
Living up to our motto
PEMBROKE, N.H. — The New Hampshire National Guard held its annual awards ceremony Dec. 13 at the Edward Cross Training Complex in Pembroke. A cake cutting was also conducted to commemorate the Guard’s 386th birthday. The year’s top individual soldiers, airmen and civilians were officially recognized for outstanding achievement.

NH Guard, Salvadoran cyber teams strengthen partnership
SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador — Backlit by the soft blue glow of nearly a dozen computer screens, a joint cyber team from the New Hampshire National Guard administered a concept assessment to El Salvador's burgeoning cyber unit during a recent State Partnership Program exchange in El Salvador on Dec. 5 - 9. The trends of the Salvadoran team’s answers provided the NH Guardsmen with focus points for building future briefings. The analysis will also be shared with other guard units to design a large-scale communications exercise, Central America Guardian, with multiple Central American state partners.

Pease crew flies record-breaking endurance mission
